Charterhouse has worked with Sony since 2004, starting with the print production of marketing communications for the UK and Europe, and evolving to include email marketing for those regions.
Our objective was to work with Sony’s Central Digital team and Global territories to manage the design, build and quality assurance for Sony’s email communications strategy; which includes over 3 million monthly blasts covering retention, acquisition and dialogue campaigns. We were effectively tasked with becoming “in house” advisors for Sony’s European email marketing.
This typically involves the coding and testing of over 150 unique email templates every month for various Sony business groups including VAIO and the CRM newsletter, My Sony. Our team are experts in splicing, coding, translating, amending and testing emails, as well as ensuring that the content and localisation is both timely and correct for 27 markets across Europe.
Our central management process and direct to studio adaptation and in 27 market variations has saved Sony 50% in market delivery costs.
We provide full support provided to all 27 markets, and localise their content to significantly decrease the cost of multiple local email build and delivery.
