Charterhouse Coke Case Study

Client

Charterhouse has worked with Coca-Cola Enterprises since 2010, supplying marketing print services for France, Belgium and Holland. We are focused on initiatives that reduce the client’s environmental footprint whilst embracing innovations in production management.

Objective

Celebrating its 125th anniversary, Coca-Cola launched a new bottle with an iconic shape to reflect its heritage. Our key objective was to create an eye-catching POS display area in the 170 outlets promoting this product. This display unit also had to be a functional promotional trigger, helping to increase sales.

Charterhouse worked in close collaboration with Coca-Cola Enterprises to deliver a highly innovative vintage truck design using recyclable cardboard and in-line cold-foil transfer.

At 240cm in length, the unit has been completely tailored to meet the required merchandising specifications, in line with Coca-Cola’s powerful brand identity. The units were delivered preassembled and the manufacturing process and delivery methods were carefully considered to minimise environmental impact.

Our final piece captured Coca-Cola’s brand heritage and vintage theme of the anniversary. Most impressively, the prototype was twice nominated at the prestigious POPAI awards (2011), taking GOLD in the “Beverage floor display” category and SILVER in the “Events” category.
